By using this website and booking a trip with Blue Kai Charters, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

• Bookings & Payments
  A deposit may be required to reserve your fishing charter. Full payment is due before departure unless otherwise arranged.
  All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
  We accept major credit/debit cards and secure online payments.

• Cancellations & Refunds
  Customer-Initiated Cancellations:

  • 14 days or more before departure: 100% of your deposit refunded

  • 13 to 7 days before departure: 50% of your deposit refunded

  • 7 days or less before departure: 0% refund unless otherwise agreed

  Weather-Related Cancellations:
  If unsafe conditions prevent the trip, we’ll reschedule at your convenience or issue a full refund.

  No-Shows or Late Arrivals:
  May result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or full payment.

• Assumption Of Risk
  Fishing and boating involve inherent risks. By participating in a Blue Kai Charters trip, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with these activities. We are not liable for personal injuries, lost items, or property damage unless caused by our proven negligence.

• Code Of Conduct
  Guests must:

  • Follow all captain and crew instructions.

  • Refrain from excessive alcohol use, disruptive behavior, or illegal activity.

  • Treat the ocean, equipment, and marine life with respect.

  We reserve the right to terminate any trip early if these guidelines are violated. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

• Website Use
  You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to interfere with its security or functionality. All content on this site is owned by Blue Kai Charters and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

• Privacy
  Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

• Limitation Of Liability
  To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Kai Charters is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services.

• Governing Law
  These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
